There are many conscientious biologists who devote their life to Pokemon research, such as Professor Oak and Bill. However, there seems to be researchers who attempt to manipulate genes to give birth to a new Pokemon. This study, of course, is very controversial in the Pokemon Society, as it could be either a great research or a really dangerous one.
