I walked down the corridor of Auradon, seeing the people walking the other way to their lessons as I smiled to them all, especially the younger kids who were nervous still. They all smiled back and as I walked outside, I took a breath of fresh air in and then walked towards the tables to do my homework.

“Hi Y/N,” Chad grinned, leaning his hand on his head as I walked by.

“Hi Chad,” I nodded at him and continued on.

“Y/N, you alright?” Another guy said.

“I am thank you,” I nodded and then managed to get to the benches.

“Y/N, h-h-hi,” Gil stuttered.

“Hi Gil,” I smiled, looking to see him blushing slightly, Harry chuckling next to him.

“Alright Y/N,” Harry greeted as he saw me smiling at him.

“Alright,” I said and then saw Carlos chuckling.

“Smooth,” Carlos said, I looked to see Jay smiling at me. I smiled back and bit my lip.

“May I join you?” I asked, he nodded and moved his bag for me to sit down.

“Sure, how’s your day been?” Jay asked as I joined him.

“Exhausting,” I admitted, “why did mum teach me to be so nice to everyone?”

“How many today?” Evie asked, I sighed and got out a pile of small notes.

“I don’t like any of them!” I said, looking at Jay.

“They all like you,” he said, “you are the fairest after all”

I rolled my eyes and shook my head, he grinned innocently and I giggled.

“You’re the only one I won’t murder for saying that,” I giggled, then looked back at Evie. When I first met her, I was terrified because of what my mum told me about the Evil Queen but honestly, she was the sweetest woman I have ever met in my life and she was insanely smart and absorbed everything like a sponge.

“Who on earth is Nathan?” Mal asked, looking at the phone number.

“Oh, he’s prince Naveen’s son. He keeps trying to convince me that he’ll devote his entire life to me and that his cooking is as good as his mum’s should I ever get bored of the lunch at Auradon,” I sighed.

“You ever going to call any of them?” Jay asked, I shook my head.

“Not at all, they think because a girl talks to them it means she likes them. We go to school together, I’m not gunna live in one quiet bubble, you talk to people to make conversation,” I replied.

“But there must be someone on your mind?” Evie said, just as Doug joined us.

“Hey Y/N, just saw Nathan running to the kitchens while mumbling something about making you a curry,” he said, I groaned and leant my forehead on Jays shoulder. Jay chuckled and wrapped his arm around me, patting my back.

“There, there! Maybe he just thinks you’re sick of this Auradon food?” He chuckled, I looked at him, my face close to his as I groaned and then grinned at him. He was the only one who teased me like this and I really loved it.

“Hey Y/N! Erm… I want to erm,” I looked to see Edward, Ariel and Eric’s son, smiling at me, “I want to give you this!”

He handed me a letter, I sighed and took it from him, looking it over to see a love note with will you go on a date with me? At the end.

“No,” I said, looking at him, “I won't”

“What?” He said, shocked. I stood up, something snapping inside me as I handed him the note back.

“No, I won’t go on a date with you, or any of the other guys that keep trying. Just because I’m nice doesn’t mean I have to put up with this shit for any longer! Now take your letter, and tell every other guy over there that I dislike them all!” I pointed to the group of princes who were sat staring at me. Edward nodded and then went back to the others, the others were sat shocked too and I turned to see the VKs all sat shocked to, then they all had massive grins on their faces.

“Nice work!” Evie grinned.

“Evil! I like it,” Mal said.

“Snow White’s daughter becoming mean!” Carlos grinned. I went to sit back next to Jay.

“I just snapped, I’m so done with shit!” I said, sighing. Jay put his hand on my lower back, rubbing it softly.

“You’re alright,” he said, “it was bound to happen with the stuff they kept trying”

“Yeah, they had no right to push you so far,” Doug said.

“Yeah, hopefully word will get around now and they all shut up,” Evie said.

“I hope so,” I mumbled, then remembered why I came to sit here in the first place, “I erm, I have homework to do, I think I’ll go do it in my room”

I stood up and walked away, towards the back entrance to get to my dorm. As I sat at my desk, trying to get some work done and forget about today. There was a knock at the door and I took a deep breath before going over to open it, I gulped, not ready for yet another guy to try his luck but as I looked I saw Jay. Stood with a pizza box in his hand.

“Thought you might want this, from the cafeteria itself,” he grinned, I smiled and let him in.

“Thank you,” I said as my stomach groaned as I smelt the food. We both sat down at the table, moving my homework as he opened the box with my favourite topping pizza.

“How ya feeling?” He asked softly.

“I actually feel really relieved,” I replied, biting in to my pizza.

“That’s good, I saw you snap, I really don’t blame you. You’re nice to everyone, it helps calms people’s nerves on their first day and it helps people out, that shouldn’t be used against you,” he said.

“Thank you,” I said and we both continued to eat the pizza.

Once we finished, Jay grabbed 2 drinks out from each of his pockets and I thanked him as I took one.

“Thank you,” I said again, “I needed this”

“I’m glad I could help,” he said.

“Would you like to watch a movie?” I asked, he nodded and we both went to the sofa to watch one that I had.

A few weeks on, I was walking out of class again, walking down the corridor, smiling at the kids who were walking the other way. This time I was just getting smiles back, no notes with phone numbers on or staring with mouths open drooling. Though as I met up with my boyfriend, kissing him softly before he wrapped his arm around me to hold me close as we walked, well that quickly shut everyone up.

“Ya know, I never did get that curry,” I said to Jay as we walked towards the benches.

“How about we go for one now? There’s a curry hut close by?” He asked.

“Let’s go handsome,” I replied and we diverted towards the curry hut, walking hand in hand.
