I can export/archive/backup your Tumblr Blog

Hi — I’m a web developer. I built a tool (called Archivr) to backup Tumblr blogs a few years ago in the hopes of preserving my likes and my own blog. When Tumblr announced their new (bullshit) rules I dusted off the code and made some improvements.

Using Archivr, I can backup the latest 10k posts from a Tumblr blog, including text, captions, photos and Tumblr-hosted videos, in under 5 minutes. More data can be captured beyond that if desired, it just takes longer.

If you want to have your blog backed up or saved before The Purge, send me a message. I’ll need the public blog URL (e.g. If you only want a specific tag archived let me know (e.g. if you only want your original content and not reblogs and tagged your posts with “mine”).

Once the data is stored I’ll give you a link where you can download it. I cannot host the data forever, so please download it, make a copy on a thumb drive or external drive, or back it up up to the cloud.

In the future I’ll build a tool that can take this exported data in the format it’s in and reconstruct a website from that archive. For now I’m just focusing on saving as much of the content as possible before Tumblr nukes it from orbit.

    Reblog/spread the word.

Can you export like 110k posts into a single download file? Asking for a friend who clearly has no life and spends too much time on Tumblr.

Tumblr Banning All Adult Content Starting December 17

Tumblr has updated their terms of service and will be banning all adult blogs starting December 17. That means this blog and all associated blogs will be disabled and removed from public access soon.

Obviously, I’m quite disappointed by this and the resulting loss of over 6 years of work building and maintaining this blog and its community. I will try to set up a mirror of the Anal Only Lifestyle blog in the coming weeks, but I expect that the porn blogs may be gone for good just due to the costs of hosting large amounts of image/video content.

How Can I Stay Connected to the Anal Only Lifestyle Community?

Fortunately, we’re far more than just these blogs! Our community is centralized at the Anal Only Lifestyle Forum and Discord server. Please join and bookmark these links in order to stay connected with this community and follow our next steps as we continue to build and grow the anal only community. In addition to discussion and realtime chat, the Discord server also has porn sharing sections.

You can also find us on Twitter and Reddit.

What Can I Do About My Own Blog?

Tumblr lets you back up and download your blog. Go to your Blog Settings page for the blog in question, scroll to the bottom, click the Export button at the bottom, and wait for an email that notifies you it’s ready to be downloaded. If it’s a big blog, it might be a very large file—this blog was 25 GB!

    Alternatives to Tumblr

This list will be updated as I find more alternatives. Please feel free to share any others with me.

  • Twitter
This is an obvious alternative, and while it’s not the same as Tumblr, it has some similarities and can reach a wide audience. It does not have a built-in posting queue, though some third party tools may support that.
  • Reddit
If you have a community, setting up a subreddit is an easy way to establish a public forum for it. Individual users can post content to their profile pages as well, though it lacks advanced features like a queue.
  • Fetlife
A community for various adult/fetish topics and subcommunities. More of a Facebook-of-kink than a porn sharing platform.
  • Discord
This is a realtime chat platform that allows you to set up your own server with different channels, with web, desktop, and mobile app support. Another great option for establishing a central community location. Allows the sharing of media as well as all sorts of other options.
  • bdsmlr
This is a Tumblr clone explicitly created for adult content. It seems to still be in the early stages and is a bit clunky still, but has potential. It also lacks in users, currently, but I’m sure that will change before long!
This is another Tumblr-like service in early development. At the time of this post it is offline and undergoing security updates, but keep checking in to see how it progresses.
  • Sharesome
An adult platform for posting and sharing content. This has some Tumblr-like features, allowing the reposting of content, addition of your own comments and captions, and curation of custom topics. Doesn’t appear to support queueing.
  • Swarmr
A Tumblr clone that allows NSFW content and supports multiple blogs per account. There aren’t a great deal of options yet, and it doesn’t seem to have much content, but that could change quickly if people join.
  • Minds
A blockchain/crypto-based platform that allows posting and tagging adult content. Seems to have issues with searching adult tags, however, and doesn’t have a queue.
  • Your own self-hosted website
This is one of the safest options, though lacks the surrounding community to help with growth that a service like Tumblr has, so you’ll need to have somewhat of an established community already to migrate to your own platform, but it can be a great option to create a central hub for your followers and community members to base out of.
  • youmustrealize

Couple alternatives I haven’t seen before.  bdsmlr, swarmr, Sharesome.

    Looking into these today.

Very good list of alternative for tumblr

    Searching NSFW Tags are gone!

Thats it folks. Tumblr has completely removed nsfw searching in all forms; searching for nsfw no longer shows up on any platform, not even on desktop.

On top of that, if your blog is tagged as explicit, even if your post isn’t nsfw none of your posts show up in the tags.

We can only hope this is a temporary measure, but I don’t trust It. See y’all on patreon, twitter, and pillowfort.

    Important about the Tumblr “Purge”

Tumblr has made and official statement on twitter about what’s going on:

We’re committed to helping build a safe online environment for all users, and we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to media featuring child sexual exploitation and abuse. As this is an industry-wide problem, we work collaboratively with our industry peers and partners like NCMEC to actively monitor content uploaded to the platform. Every image uploaded to Tumblr is scanned against an industry database of known child sexual abuse material, and images that are detected never reach the platform. A routine audit discovered content on our platform that had not yet been included in the industry database. We immediately removed this content. Content safeguards are a challenging aspect of operating scaled platforms. We’re continuously assessing further steps we can take to improve and there is no higher priority for our team.

Please please please, for the love of everything, stop spreading fear in our community. They are not purging your blogs for having NSFW content. If your blog gets deleted and you didn’t have any of the above mentioned content, or something that could be percived as such, then please contact Tumblr Support to regain your blog. They can be contacted via the form here.

Please reblog so people stop spreading false information and cause unnecesary fear.

    Just to clarify

In BDSM there are three separate forms of power exchange. In no particular order:

    • Sadism & Masochism
    • Topping & Bottoming
    • Domination & Submission

Sadism & Masochism is the exchange of power through pain. Spanking, flogging, whipping, caning, CBT, nipple torture, even rough sex. Like feeling a little pain with your pleasure? You’re a masochist. Does making someone hurt bring you pleasure? You’re a sadist. Can you be both? Absolutely. I think most of us are, in subtle ways. (My Domme pointed out it was rather sadistic of me to tease my dog with a treat to make him do cute tricks.)

Topping & Bottoming is the exchange of power through sex. One of you is in control of the situation, whether it’s just for this roll in the hay, or every single time with your partner. That person is topping. The passive, or controlled one is bottoming. So if it’s being held down or tied up during sex, or begging for an orgasm, or edging someone until they cry… that is sexual power exchange. Can you be a top and a bottom? Oh, yes, you can. You can even do it in the same romp, if that’s what works for you and your partner.

Domination & Submission is the exchange of power through emotions and intimacy. D/s (the shorthand for this) is about rules, structure, discipline, and protocol. And that can be as intense as a 24/7 Master/slave relationship, or as simple as calling your husband ‘Sir’ or ‘Daddy’ because he said so. In between is a WORLD of amazing ways to exchange power mentally.

Rules are set in place with a purpose -not just because they’re sexy. Rules are things like: Check in via text when you leave work (so I know you’re on the road and shouldn’t text). Send a photo of your outfit every morning (so I can see how beautiful you look today, and compliment you). Work out four times a week (because I want to help you stay healthy).

Protocols are similar, they are standards of behavior, such as the way you talk to and address your partner, hand them a drink, carry yourself when others are around, or present yourself to them in varying situations. Protocols are brilliant for reinforcing the D/s dynamic. Broadly speaking, you’re not often reminded of protocols unless you misstep. So something as simple as remembering to stand to your girlfriend’s left and wait quietly if she’s talking to someone at a party can reinforce your submission to her.

Discipline is about reinforcing the dynamic and enforcing rules and protocols. Mistakes are made, rules forgotten. We’re all human. That is when discipline comes in. The transgression is addressed, punishment handed out, and then the slate is wiped clean. Add in some affection after the fact and you’ve just reinforced everything you are working towards together. The intimacy required for this is pretty damn intense, and it’s important to know each other well before diving in.

Structure is key in a D/s dynamic, because without consistency, it can all fall apart. Rules that aren’t enforced are unlikely to be followed. A Dom who allows his sub to get away with everything isn’t likely to keep the respect he has earned. And respect and reverence are part and parcel of the whole kneeling thing. Likewise, a submissive who is constantly fighting the rules she agreed to isn’t respecting the dynamic, and isn’t doing her part to make it work. D/s is a lot of work for both partners, and isn’t something to be jumped into too quickly or taken lightly.

Now, to review, you can mix and match the forms of power exchange however suits you and your partner(s). And it is often different from one partner to the next. Some people fit the classic roles of Dom/Top/Sadist and Sub/Bottom/Masochist. Some people switch between sadism and masochism, while always remaining a Dom and top. Some people switch between topping and bottoming. Do you see the point I’m getting at here?

You can be any combination of those six roles in any given relationship, and that includes NOT being one of them, even when, traditionally, the others may apply.

Wanting to be in control in the bedroom does NOT automatically make you a Dom. (Say it again for the fuckboys in the back.)

Enjoying rough sex and spanking does NOT automatically make you a sub.

And you can very well be a Dom who doesn’t physically punish his sub or enjoy rough sex. And you can easily be a submissive who does not get spanked.

The definition of these terms is much broader than my summary, and will differ from person to person. Don’t pigeonhole yourself by feeling you need to adhere to a stereotypical definition of any of these terms or roles.

And if you feel I missed something, and it’s possible I did, as this is based entirely on my reading and experiences in my local community, let’s talk about it.

So very well-written. Well done @mussedandmanhandled @instructor144 @the-faculty @dominantlife @toodomforyou. An excellent reference (IMHO) for you guys who regularly dole out sage advice.

    All of this. ^^^ Yes.

    Devotional Training: A power exchange.

BDSM - fast understanding what it is about. It's different ways to interact between human beings by using their bodies to connect their minds.

Some ways of keeping her in her place.

    1. Don’t allow her to wear clothes at certain times.

    2. Eat before her, don’t allow her to eat before you’re finished.

    3. Randomly grope her.

    4. Deliberatly make a mess then make her clean it up.

    5. Interrupt her during her daily tasks to service you sexually.

    6. Never use her real name, just refer to her as girl or woman.

    7. Show her degrading images of women.

    8. Make her listen to hypnosis before bed.

    9. Make it so she has to ask permission to do basic bodily functions like peeing.

    10. Never let her go anywhere without your approval and go with her every where as often as you can.

    11. Order her food for her without her choice.

    12. Just after she’s finished her make, fuck her face until she has to start again.

    13. Take away her bank cards, her passport, her driver’s licence and lock them away.

    14. Never give her a key to your house so she is stuck indoors.

    15. Go out with your friends, even if she has made plans.

    16. Detail every single inch of her life, make schedules for clothes, meals, cleaning.

Be creative, there are so many ways to make a woman realise her place.

How to make girls fall in love

-Compliment us. Tell us we’re the best cook you know, the best cleaner, the best hostess. It’ll make us feel important to you. That you need us.

-Give us 10 solid minutes of your attention a day so we can tell you all of our nonsense. Smile at us and tell us we’re good girls for sharing

-When we make a mistake don’t get mad just pull us close and tell us you expected this and slowly explain how to fix it.

-Show us off. Buy us pretty things to wear, take us out. Post pictures of us on your social media make sure the caption is possesive “/My/ woman.”

-Slowly show dominance. Start by making small decisions for us, where we eat, where we go then bigger what we wear then what we eat, what we drink, what we say and finally what we think.

    -Mansplain EVERYTHING.

-Don’t let us hear inappropriate conversations, watch violent movies or films tell us we’re too delicate.

-Instil traditional gender roles, it will satisfy our need to care and serve and there will be no tension between us.

-Keep us wet. Trust me it makes us brain dead pliant little girls

Ladies please feel free to add more!

    Tips for faceslapping women

    - Find her tolerance limit: First hit her softly and then gradually increase the force of each slap if you see she can take it. - Always make her close her mouth before the slap to avoid her teeth cutting inside her mouth during the slap. - Always hit her in the jaw. Never close to the ear (audition loss hazard), nose (bleeding nose harzard) or eyes. Any hit above the cheekbone (around the eye) will give her a black eye. - If you wanna slap her hard in one cheek, then is useful to support her other cheek with your other hand. This is done to avoid a strong “whiplash effect” on her head. - Keep clipped and filed nails to avoid accidental cuts. -Avoid slapping her as a punishment/discipline. She has a fatty butt and some sensitive thighs that can be used for that purpose. Those are much safer to hit than her face. Use them. - Never slap her with anger.

A good slap puts a naughty girl immediately in her place. It makes her shut up immediately so it’s really effective against a back-talking girl. Normally it brings instant tears of submission. But it can be a severe tool, so it must be used with care.

Remember: Women are delicate beings and they are easy to break. Better play with your toys without breaking them… so you can keep on playing!

    Submissive vs. Slave

I recently came to a deeper understanding of something I’d been puzzling about for years: the difference between a “submissive” and a
“slave”. I’ve heard a number of people in the lifestyle try to explain the difference between them, insisting that the difference between them was in kind and not simply degree. In other words, that a slave was somehow fundamentally different than a mere submissive.

For the longest time I could only see it as a matter of degree because the only thing I could see that could distinguish them unambiguously was the presence of consent and since both were consensual relationships, it was either an aesthetic choice of which word to use, or some fuzzy way of counting coup on others— “She’s just a submissive, but I’m a slave.”

Not too long ago I was conversing with a woman I know, an empath with a slave heart; a person whom I deeply respect. I take what she tells Me very seriously because when it comes to emotions, in My experience, she’s got a gift. She can tell you more about a person’s personality and character from just hugging them than I could tell you about their personality and character from an hour of conversation.

I brought up this subject with her, because I had recently heard her declare that she was not a submissive, but a slave. I asked her to explain her understanding of the difference to Me.

What she said gave Me pause. She said that to her, a slave was not a person who followed orders, but a manifestation of the Master’s will.

    That was it.

What she said had a really odd, otherworldly sound to it. I thought about it for a few days… and then I finally realized what she was saying. In My own words: a submissive is like a faithful employee— dedicated, skilled, loyal. But a slave is like the avatar of a god: someone who’s deepest purpose is to essentially become the Master in everything they do. Not because they are a Master, but because they have become the eyes, the hands, the will of the Master. When a slave does something, the Master has essentially done it through them.

I have long known I am not just a Dominant— I am a Master. Doms get off on being Dominant, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But being a Master is a spiritual calling to Me— it provides meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in My life. This difference is not just in degree— a Master is not merely or necessarily more Dominant than a Dominant— it is a difference in kind. Now I also understand that the same is true between a submissive and a slave. A slave is not merely or necessarily more submissive than a submissive— being a slave is a spiritual calling.
