The Living Daylights (1987) dir.: John Glen

    michel-du-fay

“This movie (Living Daylights) ends wrong. Necros (Andreas Wisniewski) the pretty villain, a ballet dancer and KGB Agent who defected (Wasniewski is a dancer), is an idealistic freedom fighter in the script.  He should certainly realize that Kaskov and Whitaker are profiteers who are taking advantage of his cause, while Kara's incompetence masks that she clearly is still working for Kaskov. She turns on Bond and Necros in the plane, and they toss her out. Bond and Necros fall in love and join forces at the end to kill Whitaker and turn Kaskov over to the Russians. The dénoument is Necros dancing in the ballet in Vienna.  Necros then joins Bond in his room for a romantic glass of champagne, where they are joined by Kamran Shah and Felix Leitner (played by  the dishy Art Malik and the dishy John Terry)  and the film ends with a foursome.”
