    Hello hello~

This is your friendly reminder to NOT shit on people’s original characters.

    Wanna know WHY?

Cause in literally every media you consume, the ‘canon’ characters you love in established fandoms are someone’s original characters that just happened to be published.

So next time you go to make fun of people for writing / RPing / drawing their original characters remember that. Ya fuckin’ hypocrites. I will fight you in a Denny’s parking lot.

I want to live by myself when I move out of my parent's place but I'm really afraid of money problems? I'm afraid that the only place I can afford will be in the ghetto and it'll all be torn apart and I'll only be allowed to eat one granola bar a week. I'm really stressing out about this. • Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:

Reasons to move out of home

You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:

  • wishing to live independently
  • location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
  • conflict with your parents
  • being asked to leave by your parents.
  • Issues to consider when moving out of home

It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:

  • Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
  • Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
  • Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
  • Your parents may be worried

Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:

  • They may worry that you are not ready.
  • They may be sad because they will miss you.
  • They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
  • They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
  • Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.

    Tips for a successful move

    Tips include:

  • Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
  • Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
  • Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
  • Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
  • Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
  • Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
  • If your family home does not provide support

Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.

If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.

If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.

    Where to get help

  • Your doctor
  • Kids Helpline Tel. 1800 55 1800
  • Lifeline Tel. 13 11 44
  • Home Ground Services Tel. 1800 048 325
  • Relationships Australia Tel. 1300 364 277
  • Centrelink Crisis or Special Help Tel. 13 28 50
  • Tenants Union of Victoria Tel. (03) 9416 2577
  • Things to remember

  • Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
  • Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
  • Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.

Xiao, Childe, and Kaeya Babysitting an Energetic Child Reader

    Fandom: Genshin Impact

    Characters: Xiao, Childe, Kaeya, child!Reader

    Type/Genre: Bulleted headcanons, fluff

    Warnings: None

  • Who let this man have babysitting duty
  • Has no clue how to interact with you. The only thing he knows is how to kill, and even someone as clueless of children as him knows that that’s not an appropriate topic of discussion
  • Probably ends up dumping you on Verr Goldet or the traveler tbh. Xiao’s not a good influence on you and he knows it.
  • If he’s stuck with you, though, he’ll probably ask you what you want to do
  • Has you sit in a chair, playing with some silk flowers and qingxin he picked.
  • He’ll take his eyes off of you for one minute, and the next thing he knows you’re gone.
  • Panics as he turns the inn upside down looking for you
  • Finally finds you under the table in the kitchen, laughing as if the two of you were playing a game of hide and seek.
  • Resists the urge to yell and scold you
  • Won’t let you further than arm’s length now. Pulls out the child leash
  • Settles you down by feeding you some tofu, giving both of you a moment of peace.
  • “Is it normal for human children to have this much energy?”

  • Absolutely adores you. You were just like him when he was a child, so he’ll be super excited to babysit you.
  • Shows you + lets you do all the stuff that he thought was cool when he was little—pushing you down the staircase in a sled, having a water gun fight, even lets you play around with his bow (since it’s not as sharp as his other weapons)
  • He’ll have just as much fun as you do
  • Thinks you’ll be exhausted after a full day of activities. In fact, even he’s feeling a bit worn out.
  • Smiles when he sees you nodding off, getting up to carry you to bed and tuck you in for a nap.
  • Suddenly, you straighten up, wide awake.
  • He’s surprised but also admires how you still have so much energy.
  • Rolls up his sleeves, takes this as a challenge to tire you out before your parents come to pick you up.
  • He loses. He’s the one that gets exhausted instead
  • “Whew...to be able to tire out a Fatui Harbinger...you’re really something, aren’t you, kid?”

  • Who let this man have babysitting duty part 2
  • He’s like...the worst qualities of Xiao and Childe combined into one man. The ultimate chaotic babysitter
  • He knows he’s probably a bad influence on you, and that you can get super active which may cause trouble.
  • Not a problem. In fact, he’ll even harness your energy and troublemaking antics to his advantage.
  • Since you’re tagging along with him for the day, he allows you to join him in a meeting with some of the Knights.
  • Promises you a cookie if you act extra annoying during the meeting, interrupting whoever is talking and complaining that you’re bored.
  • Jean isn’t even able to get out a whole thought without you chiming in about something irrelevant.
  • In the end, the two of you are kicked out of the meeting, much to both of your delight. Kaeya got to skip work, and you got a cookie and a head pat. Win-win situation.
  • Proceeds to teach you a bunch of other bad habits like tax evasion
  • “You did great! Now I’m going to teach you how to get Master Diluc to give you free apple juice.”

i know who you pretend i am

summary: he had hoped that your last wish could be true.

    [part 1] [part 2]

zhongli stare the tree in devastation, placing a qingxin flower onto the ground as he bid you his goodbye. this time, it was not his last. often time, he found himself wanders around nantianmen, hoping that you'd somehow come and greet him.

hoping that your snarky remarks reach to his ears. he was alone as childe have already off to snezhnaya to solve his business there. putting his hand to the his back, he slowly strolled around nantianmen, taking in each beauty from the land you have reside.

he wonder what would you do if you had found out why he have avoided you. he wonder if you hated him, if he was honest to you. perhaps you do, as least that's what he thought. what if you had found out the reason why he had not visit you in your mansion was because he was afraid of that it was not you who would greet him there.

biting his own tongue, he refrain himself from speaking of the matter any longer. even if he was conversing with his own thoughts, the guilt continue to eat him up. it is what he deserve and he knows it.

for now, he could only mourned for his strongest warrior. there's no need for tears to be shed, he know you'd felt disrespected if he have done that. you were not one who fond of accepting condolences. who knows if your spirit is still here guarding your territory?

he heard from the cloud retainer that you had a liking for the flower named qingxin, he finally knows why the flowers had always be in your hands. maybe he should pick a dozen of it, something to honor you.

your death was painful, it has been so long since he had seen you and when he does, you lay weakly on the ground. zhongli called himself foolish for not visiting you earlier, maybe you and him could have shared a tea together.

as the years go by, a tradition was made on the day your death. he would sometimes bring childe along to pay your grave a visit while leaving a bouquet of qingxins. and as zhongli stay in his age, childe continue to grew older until he was bedridden, sick from using his delusion too many times.

his death push zhongli over the edge, causing him to lose every hope he has for anything. how many more will he lost? each time he closed his eyes, he was greeted with the faces that had left him.

how long has it been your death? he lose count as he forget about the tradition he did for you. the qingxin he brought was withering, messing your grave in its gray hue. but zhongli could not find any motivation to meet you, he who once says life is precious finally lose the purpose of staying alive for another mundane days.

zhongli could not remember when it was, but he had stumbled upon a orange fox, resting peacefully under the shadow of the tree. taking notice of his presence, it ran way.

"hold on." he says, reaching the fox with his finger. somehow it felt familiar, the fox shaking form stay by his lap as he gently caressing the fur. he converse with the fox once in a while, acting as if you were the one he talks with. it was calming, after all the time of pent up sadness was poured on a fox he had just discovered.

hell, he have no one now, there's nothing wrong venting to an animal at this point.

the fox soon took a nap against his touch, petting it ears, zhongli lean his back against the rock. he failed to noticed the shape of a qingxin on its stomach before he was too drifted off to slumber in a middle of the wild.

he had dreamed about you that night, seeing you who trained day and night by his side as he help you with your spears. you were eager to learn on how to use it despite being completely fine with using your own bow. but you insist, saying it was for his own sake.

you had a close relationship with him, often time you'd shared a meal together. you were each other first acquaintance, he had found you dying whilst still being a mortal. there he offered you something, to be strong and lend him your hand to protect his land. with no hesitance, you accept it, shaking his hand as you form a contract between the geo archon.

he had remembered when you sat on top of the highest peak of the mountain, enjoying the breeze as qingxin surrounding you. you look so lovely, having a calm smile displaying on your face.

you were used to have a small frown on your face, always worrying about him that it had made you stay cautious all the time. but when he remembered the sight he capture, his breath could not find it way to his throat. he wish he could be next to you right now, enjoying the breeze together but he knew you'll never let him, afraid that an enemy could assassinate him any time.

waking up he notice that the fox have already leaves his lap, felt a bit down that the fox was gone. brushing off the dust from his clothing, he had decided to visit somewhere. somewhere that held a special place in his stone heart.

his eyes admiring the ever-so-mighty tree, walking around the spacious field, he took a seat on of the exposed roots. the place does filled him with calmness as he listen to the birds chirping. they sky was still young, he assume that he was sleeping just for a moment earlier. glancing over to the sky, he admired the stars from afar.

you wish your and his stars to be align?

he wish for the same too, he truly does.

"why are you wishing for things that would not be true?" flinching at the sound, he looks around frantically, searching for the voice he longs to hear. you sound so close, but so far to reach. it was frustrating, the voice occasionally moves confusing him on where to look. noticing that he was surrounded with darkness, only the tree being his company.

"you should stop wishing if i were you." stopping right behind him, he turns around with a slight tremble. his heart dropped when he had seen you, it was as if his eyes playing tricks on him.

"i wish i could stop when i had time." murmuring, you lower your gaze to the ground. his pupil shakes, it couldn't be. your eyes drooped, walking away from the man as you took a seat on the ground. holding up your palm to the sky, you pretend to caress the sky.

"him and i don't share the same sky, therefore, it forbids our stars to be align."

you confessed, as if he was someone else. you talk as if the 'him' wasn't zhongli, perhaps it was because it was not zhongli you have fell for. it was morax who you cherish, not this mortal who bear his face or his blood.

"even if i was at the same position as them, i would never truly past the same barrier that our sky have put." mentioning how close you were with him, there's always a limit for him, a border he have put between you and him.

"even when i close my eyes, i knew who i was for him."

zhongli continue to listen, watching as you soaked in your own words. your hand falling to the ground hopelessly as your shoulders dropped. a bitter smile plays on your lips, as you turn your face to him. he watched in horror as the blood gush out from your stomach, running to you he was stopped by a barrier, holding him up from reaching you.

"i am merely a void filler for him. how unfortunate it was for me to know that he had cast me out after the archon war just because i reminded him of someone he loves."

zhongli try to called your name out, banging against the barrier only for his voice to be muffled. you hope he knew how much you sore your throats to call for him, in hope of him appearing in front of you.

"it doesn't matter if i am alive, i would always stay here, being second of everything even if had try my best." it was as if you were trying to convince yourself, zhongli eyes were swollen, his tears soaking his own clothing as he continue to scream for your name.

"i could only hope that my sacrifice is worth, is enough to satisfy him. for him to praise me a little is enough, everything is enough for me. was it because how little did i get in return?" you asked yourself, holding your wound with your finger as it stained it with your own blood.

"wishing is truly a deadly game." with that you stare into his bloodshot eyes, the beautiful amber pupil shrink as his bloodied fist against the invisible barrier.

"funny how you share the same eyes with him." smiling at zhongli, you were erased from his sight as a pale gold hue of dust washing your body over. he was pulled back from meeting, from telling how much he have wish to tell you that he fell for you after realising all the things he have done. he wish you knew how much he loves you as much as you do, it was just not the right time.

not for him and not for you. not when he was too late to notice you when you had always been there by his side. when all you've done was to help him to protect his land with your own lives. he wish he had a little more time, just a few hours from the past would be a blessing. he wish he could speak to you and tell you his conflicted feelings he felt.

for you had always been there to be his solution.

[name]'s death was so slow, they were slightly affected by the erosion from the cave that azhdaha reside, forgetting zhongli face and only his eyes remain still in their core memory. his name remain unknown for them, but the moment they had shared was still there because [name] had hold it dearly for so long.

  • Traveler age discourse in genshin is so stupid to me because

  • it's been stated many times that they are more than 500+ years old and have travelled countless worlds
  • "they are physically a minor" have you actually looked at real people. There are short and babyfaced adults, there are also tall kids
  • "they are mentally a minor" Missing sibling is literally leading the abyss, traveler involves themselves a lot in other region's politics, complains abt not being allowed to drink (like in venti's case), threatened to k!ll childe once
  • abyss sibling said "theyve always had enough time"
  • I know mhy atleast tries to make them self-insert (which is ok if you want to project your age but insisting that traveler is a minor is diff) for the player but like, from the new archon quest, the name everyone in teyvat knows is just an alias, traveler has their own canon name which the abyss sibling calls them. Their personalities are really strong (which also differs a bit depending on the twin and it fits well considering that aether is older and lumine is the younger twin)

Dont get me with the traveler x xiao being 'illegal' when the game goes out its way to show that xiao has feelings for traveler.

I've also seen people say zhongven is a creepy ship bc "zhongli is in the body of an adult and venti is in a minor" when everyone pretty much treats venti like an adult (heck a wild drunkard lmao). Not to mention venti is literally 2000+ years old.

tl;dr im tired of age discourse

Flowers of red and gold decorated the streets of Mondstadt, shouts of greeting and squeals of children running up and down the stairs filled the lively atmosphere. There’s something curious about the Windblume Festival. The change in scenery and atmosphere that brings the people together, dandelions drifting amidst the wind as children run up and down the streets with bunches of flowers gripped tightly in their hands. Every citizen in the City of Freedom greets one another with a smile on their face, offering blessings that are carried in the wind and hoped to be heard by the Anemo Archon. Poetry, flowers, and drinks. Among many other things, these are popular amongst the people of Mondstadt, gift exchanges happening wherever one may look. It’s a peaceful time. There are no worries about hilichurl camps or the Abyss Order, nor are adventurers attempting to brave Dragonspine’s frigid environment. Instead, the people gather around Mondstadt’s plaza to offer flowers and gifts to the Anemo Archon in hopes of a blessing of a fruitful year.

It was the first Windblume Festival that you would be spending with Albedo. In the past, the ingenious alchemist never paid much attention to Mondstadt’s holidays, but this year, after much persuasion, the alchemist decided to lay back on his work for a bit and indulge in the festivities. During this special time of the year, you would spend more time with your brothers, either helping Diluc in the Angel’s Share or offering to go on patrol with Kaeya. To add on, the Windblume Festival was one of the few times a year that all three of you returned to the Dawn Winery to have a family meal with one another. This holiday had always been a special one for your family, your father often having you, Diluc, and Kaeya decorate the manor in honour of the Anemo Archon. The first few years after your father’s death, the manor had been silent and closed off. Diluc had gone out to travel without a word, leaving you and Kaeya in the manor alone. Neither of you decorated the manor nor did you actively celebrate the Windblume Festival. Even after Diluc returned, the tension between him and Kaeya had skyrocketed and you hadn’t dared step foot in the manor while your brothers were arguing with one another. It took a couple years before all three of you came together. Despite the fact that none of you felt the urge to decorate the entire house as you once did, you all came together to share a meal and put aside your differences. The next day however, Diluc and Kaeya would go back to making snarky comments back at one another.
