In the second season for Pantone apparel collection, the focus is on contrast through colour blocking, with new developments including reversible pieces with down jackets combining reversible fabrics and geometric digital prints throughout the collection

Among the seasonal colour stories, the purple-red family looks strong, showcasing the Pantone Colour of the year; Radiant Orchid.

Our #colouroftheweek is Blood Orange, as seen on the Topman catwalk at A/W 14/15 Men's London Fashion Week. This confirms Pantone 17-1462 from the WGSN A/W 14/15 Global Colour Direction.

Our #colouroftheweek is Glass. One of WGSN's top picks for SS14 from our colour forecast, this pale grey/blue works well for accessories and nails at the Kate Spade show at #NYFW. Match to Pantone 12-4805.

Our #colouroftheweek is sherbet lemon. First seen in WGSN's A/W 13/14 Riotous Pastels colour theme, match sherbet lemon back to Pantone 16-0622 TCX. The recent A/W 13/14 catwalks confirmed this trend for powdered pastels revisited as winter shades, perfect for interchangeable climates and the new trend for seasonless dressing.

Got to love this... Pantone has launched a limited edition colour guide to The Queen to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee.

The bespoke guide, cut to her silhouette, features some of Her Majesty's most memorable colour choices, including Primrose Yellow, Crystal Blue and Pink Carnation. Each features Pantone Colour references, as well as the date and location of her outfit choice.

The guide was created in collaboration with ad agency Leo Burnett London.
