talking about Rosie The Riveter, fun fact: while the We Can Do It picture has become the most-well known depiction of her in modern times, it wasn’t really a famous image when it was made–in fact, it wasn’t even intended to be her

the most famous depiction of Rosie The Riveter during WWII was probably Norman Rockwell’s painting

note what she’s resting her foot on

How were people in the midst of wwII more cognizant of women than actual 2020 liberals. I’m screaming

they weren’t and i find it very funny that you and a bunch of your terf buddies have suddenly started reblogging this post because i 100% know that if you weirdos met a woman that looked like this in real life you would immediately start making mental calculations about the width of her shoulders versus how loud you should shriek about a man entering the woman’s bathroom

how much dog shit do you have to have between your ears to unironically post that the 1940s were good to women. how is 1940s propaganda working on you in 2020

    How's Riverdale going these days?

the season had to end early bc of corona lol so season 4 sucked super ass bc it made no sense and went nowhere and had a david lynch inspired plotline/character aesthetic that was terribly executed. oh also there was a “ripped from the headlines” plot about the high schoolers making tickling fetish porn that was commissioned by their principal in secret

Four people come to a river in the night. There is a narrow bridge, but it can only hold two people at a time. They have one torch and, because it's night, the torch has to be used when crossing the bridge. Person A can cross the bridge in 1 minute, B in 2 minutes, C in 5 minutes, and D in 8 minutes. When two people cross the bridge together, they must move at the slower person's pace. The question is, can they all get across the bridge if the torch lasts only 15 minutes?

im going to throw the torch in the river so we all go home and forget all this river nonsense

imagine there's a large river. On the Right Bank, there are two wolves and two sheep. you have a boat that as many as two animals can ride in, and you have to use the boat to get all four animals to the Left Bank. A single wolf or sheep can paddle the boat, but no more than two can ride it at a time. If the wolves outnumber the sheep on either bank, they attack and devour the sheep. What do you do?

take both wolves and throw them in the river half way and then get my sheep. no need to deal with wolves today
