Lowkey annoyed about people calling Techno the traitor because he’s just not. He’s always been clear about how he’s a violent anarchist who wanted to blow up L’manberg. He’s always been clear that he’s anti-government not just anti-Jschlatt. Pogtopia chose to ignore that their best fighter was a violent anarchist. They ignored the warning signs they ignored the fact that Techno was pro-blowing it all up. Techno’s not a traitor, Pogtopia just decided to ignore the warning signs and the dangers of a violent anarchist in their coup.

I know everyone’s biggest take is that either Techno betrayed his friends or that he didn’t but… his friends betrayed him, didn’t they? His displeasure in government was clear from the start. His loyalty lay with them for they wanted to overthrow what was already in place, not to reinstate it. He has said this, time and time again. He didn’t want the government.

His friends stabbed him in the back and then painted him as the bad guy. Take that into consideration.

There's just something about the fact that the only way to truly die on the smp is to choose to never come back. Schlatt and Wilbur are gone, both through some means of suicide, and they're the only characters that are permanently presumed dead. What does that say about the world then, if the only way to leave is by suicide? The server is constantly in a state of war, but we all know they respawn, so the point of the wars isn't to kill the Minecraft character, so to speak. The pet war, the disc war, even the war for lmanberg have all been about taking the things the enemy loves. What's the best way to fight against other immortals? Take from them what makes living worth it

No one knew if Wilbur respawned or not, and no one wanted to check. Even Dream didn’t look at the logs.

In a secret city, a young woman puts up a memorial for a man she once followed as a leader and cared for as a friend. She places a flower in the dirt, tears making tracks in the ash on her face.

In the wreckage of a nation, two boys run their hands over an old, old tree kept safe within obsidian walls. They have no words, so deep is their mourning. One has to pick up the pieces of a nation, the other the pieces of his family.

In a bunker under a river, an anarchist removes his armor, methodically wiping the blood off of it. His eyes blur and they fill with tears and he doesn’t know why.

In a ravine, a son sobs for his father, lost before he had even died. There was no reconciliation for them, no prodigal son’s return, no apology, no closure.

A father comforts him, crying for the same man lost. There’s blood on his hands.

Distantly, guitar chords echo through the wilderness, too far away for anyone to hear.

A shaky song accompanies it. My L’Manburg…my L’Manburg…

Okay apparently everybody's calling Techno the traitor, which I'm not surprised by because I've already noticed that nobody in this fandom understands what the word means, but I need to clear this shit up:

    Techno is not a "traitor"

    He didn't betray anyone

He literally told them what he wanted from the start, he never once lied about his aims or claimed to want L'Manberg restored.

They asked him to help them anyway. It's entirely on them

You call an anarchist, YOU GET AN ANARCHIST. You can't complain if they then turn against you when you're the one in power! That's what anarchists do. We fight the people who are in power.

So like, Sally is obviously a shapeshifter, right?

Like, as funny as it is to meme about Wilbur fucking a fish, Sally’s not just a salmon, right? Cause like…she is canonically an accountant, which a normal salmon couldn’t do. And she’s been referred to as Wilbur’s wife before. And Fundy did imply that she raised him.  I just feel like a normal salmon couldn’t have done all that? Like? Sally’s a shapeshifter, isn’t she? (and let’s not even get into how biologically it doesn’t make sense that wilbur could just fuck a salmon and she’d give live birth to a normal functional child?)

Plus,  Human Man + Actual Salmon = Anthro Fox wouldn’t make sense, however Human Man + Shapeshifter = Anthro Fox very much could.

I demand fanart of Sally as the shapeshifter she is.

I feel like Technoblade acting a slight bit apathetic (at least that's how it seemed he was acting) is a self-defense type thing... Everyone is so pissed with him and he, as anxious as he gets, decides that in that instance, he'll respond to that anxiety with apathy

Because earlier he responded violently, like a mouse who was cornered (cornered mice bite), but that backfired on him...

for a long time it was just Philza and The Void.

neither remember a time before the other, it had always been like that. presumably millennium passed, but with no way to tell they would never be sure.

but eventually, they grew silent. here was nothing more to talk about, and so, they had an idea. a competition if you will.

    they were to create life.

they began sculpting, building lifeforms in their own image. giving them traits and additions and a purpose.

the next time they saw each other, they presented their creations.

The Void presented a dark creature adored in fine black robes with red details. a pair of horns and a ring of light around it’s head. he called it Halo, though more often referred to it as Boy.

then it was Philza’s time to show off his creation. it stood strong in front of Halo, a thick red cloak falling over it’s shoulders lined with fine fur. it had gold fashions across it’s regal attire, and sat atop his have was the mask of what we now know as a boar. He called this being Techno.

Philza and The avoid studied each other’s creatures, poking, prodding, and questioning, then finally it was time for the test.

with their combined abilities, Philza and The avoid breathed life into their children.

Techno and Halo were nothing short of perfect in the immortal’s eyes, but they were far from finished...

haha first little pantheon au blip :D starting with Phil, Void, and of course Techno and Bad. I’m going to be working on this for a while so if you have any questions, please ask!

The SMP storyline is so well written, from wilbur’s character arc, to Tommy’s protagonist storyline, tubbos double agency, techno’s false betrayal, Nikis spectacular acting and Dream’s sideline involvement. It’s so well done and I seriously commend everyone involved, even if George slept through it
