    Did you know that male and female Blue-Footed boobies can be differentiated based on the size and shape of their pupils? Females have a pigmented iris that makes their pupils appear much larger and more irregular than those of their male counterparts. This difference may be related to the fact that males and females feed and hunt slightly different niches of fish in order to reduce feeding competition between the sexes.
