So ladies and gents, up above are three scenes I have built in SFM and packaged up using aardvarks DMX packager.
I imagine once you download you will extract it all to usermod and hopefully they will work (my first time doing this).
Scenebuilds include Jack’s hidey hole from ME2, Miranda’s office from ME2, and my own strip club build.
Okay folks, I’ve updated the Miranda’s office file to address the missing materials.
One of two things will happen. Download, extract, overwrite. Load up the session (all the sessions for these builds use the zipped folder names). Now if the monitors are on, no further action required.
However, if they’re not, do the following.
1: Locate the ‘computer’ props in the model list. You’re look for computer prop 1, 3 and 4 in the list (2 is already running) when reading down.
2: On each of these indicated props, right click and in the menu that pops up, click ‘Add Override Materials’
3: Right click again and go to ‘Show in Element Viewer’ > ‘Models’. A new screen will open.
4: You’ll see green text ‘materials’ with a + sign next to it. Expand the plus. A list will appear. Open the plus on ‘Holomod_01_orangeani’ and right click the title. Go down to ‘Add Attribute’ > ‘Float’. A little text box will appear. Clear ‘newattribute’ from it, and type in $alpha. Once you have, a 0 value will appear to the immediate right of ‘$alpha’. Type 1.5 into that value and the screen should turn on.
So I’ve been informed that someone else still gets the pink screens. That’s one pink screen, mine are off and another’s on with no materials -.-
Okay. If you suffer this, apply the same instructions above, but switch the prop to skin 4 and the material to ‘Holomod_05_orangeani’
