[This is something that I thought of today:

I really can't do spontaneous/generalized starters, and I'm not comfortable approaching others to plot something unless I have an idea of what I would say. Basically, I want to have the situation be tailored to the mun/muse I'm interacting with, but I don’t really know what would work for them]

[Just in case it's confusing, "unless I have an idea of what I would say" is meaning "unless I have something to say." So in other words, I'm not really going to send asks/IMs if all I can think of is "hey" or "how are you?"

It's just that I want to contribute something to the conversation instead of waiting for whoever I'm talking to to say something.

That's the only way I can think of to word it, but I still think it is confusing]
